Revenue Administration Training Centre is one of the leading Government organizations under the Ministry of Finance for human resources development in the field of financial management, accounting and revenue administration for developing human capital in the concerned sector. 
 
RATC Established in 1981 (B.S. 2037), with an objective of developing ability and skills of the personnel of revenue and accounting services within the MOF, RATC has been conducting various activities like training needs assessment, curriculum and training modules development, teaching materials development and pre-service & in-service training organization in the field of revenue and financial administration over the years. 
 
Major first layer stakeholders of RATC are Ministry of Finance (MOF), departments under MOF and Financial Comptroller General's Office (FCGO). In addition, other government agencies are second layer stakeholders of RATC. 
 
RATC has pursued teaching methodology that includes delivery of class room lectures, distributing hand-outs, group discussions, field visits, case studies and class reviews and presentations. Instructors within the RATC are involved in organizing the trainings and conducting the classes while resource persons and experts outside the RATC are invited generally. Except for the short term training, final examination is conducted at the end of the training session and subsequently certificates to the successful participants are awarded accordingly.
